An award night gives you one chance at each moment. The handshake happens once, the winner reacts once, and the room is dark. Award night photography in Dubai is judged on whether those few seconds came out sharp, well lit and correctly exposed against a bright stage screen.

Where the stage lighting catches people out

Ballroom stages in Dubai hotels run hot, coloured spotlights against a large LED wall. Automatic exposure reads the screen and underexposes every face in front of it. We meter for the face, not the screen, and hold that setting through the presentation so the whole sequence matches.

We work two positions for award sequences. One camera stays locked on the podium for the clean handshake frame. The second roams for reactions on the floor, which is usually the image the marketing team actually shares.

What arrives, and when

A preview set of the key award moments reaches you the same night, sized for press and social. The full edited gallery follows within 48 hours. Every image is colour corrected and straightened, and you receive both high resolution files for print and a web set sized for immediate posting.

What we need before the night

Send the run sheet, the award order and the name of anyone who must appear in the coverage. Ballroom access thirty minutes before doors lets us test the stage lighting and set positions before guests arrive. If there is a step and repeat wall, tell us where it sits relative to the entrance.
